Giro Taggert MIPS helmet

Discover the ultimate fusion of minimalist design and all-mountain performance with the GIRO Taggert MIPS Helmet, the premier choice for alpine skiers who refuse to be confined to a single discipline. Engineered for the modern rider, the Taggert MIPS is as comfortable carving precise lines on the groomers as it is hitting big jumps in the park or charging through fresh powder in the backcountry. It features a sleek, clean design with no frills and a remarkably slim silhouette, delivering a low-profile look that complements any ski kit.

At the heart of the Taggert´s advanced protection is the MIPS® Brain Protection System. This cutting-edge, low-friction layer is designed to help reduce rotational forces transferred to the brain during certain angled impacts, providing an added layer of confidence when you´re pushing your limits. The helmet´s structural integrity is rooted in its In-Mold Construction, a process that fuses a tough polycarbonate outer shell directly to the impact-absorbing foam liner. This technique creates a stronger, more durable helmet that is also incredibly lightweight, tipping the scales at approximately 430 grams (medium size), ensuring you enjoy all-day comfort without feeling weighed down.

Experience a personalized, secure fit in seconds with the revolutionary In Form™ 2 Fit System. This intuitive, dial-operated system provides up to 6cm of micro-adjustment and features vertical tuning, allowing you to fine-tune the helmet´s position on your head to eliminate any gap between your helmet and goggles for a seamless, integrated feel.

Temperature regulation is expertly managed by the Passive Aggressive Venting System. This intelligent, auto-venting design draws cool, fresh air in through the front while simultaneously pushing heat and stale air out the back, maintaining an optimal temperature balance during both high-intensity runs and long lift rides. This is further enhanced by Stack Ventilation, which aligns the helmet´s front vent with your goggles to prevent fogging and keep your vision clear from the first chair to the last lap. The Taggert MIPS also includes a removable goggle retainer for a clean look when wearing your goggle strap underneath the helmet.
