HEAD Faero MIPS Helmet: Unrivaled Safety and Comfort for Alpine Skiing

Discover the pinnacle of alpine ski helmet technology with the HEAD FÆRO MIPS. Engineered for skiers who demand both uncompromising safety and exceptional all-day comfort, this helmet sets a new standard for on-piste performance. It seamlessly blends cutting-edge protection systems with a luxurious fit, ensuring you can focus on your lines with complete confidence. The FÆRO MIPS is the ideal choice for comfortable and safe adventures on the track, offering a premium experience from the first run of the day to the last.

Thanks to the advanced in-mould technology, the FÆRO MIPS helmet offers a particularly light and stable construction. This manufacturing process fuses the durable outer shell directly to the impact-absorbing inner core, resulting in a single, robust unit. This provides superior protection against impacts without the bulk and weight of traditional helmets, allowing you to ski with agility and freedom for hours on end.

At the heart of its safety features is the revolutionary Mips® Integra TX system. This state-of-the-art brain protection system complements the traditional fabric and foam comfort padding with an integrated, low-friction layer. The system provides movement to help reduce rotational head movement in certain angled impacts. This critical layer of defense is integrated so seamlessly that it works without altering the helmet´s superior comfort and fit or adding any discernible weight, giving you peace of mind with every turn.

Achieving the perfect fit is effortless with the innovative Sphere Fit system. This patented system, complete with height adjustment, envelops the head like a comfortable beanie, creating a snug and homogenous fit for all head shapes. It guarantees a personalized, 360-degree hold that eliminates pressure points and ensures the helmet stays securely in place during dynamic movements, providing optimal hold and stability when you need it most.

Experience unparalleled comfort from the first chair to the last run. The plush Tech-Lining and Surround Comfort Design create a cozy interior that feels great against your skin, while a magnetic Fidlock buckle makes securing the chinstrap quick and easy, even while wearing gloves. To maintain an ideal microclimate, the helmet is equipped with efficient thermal ventilation, which ensures perfect air circulation. This active system constantly draws fresh air in while expelling warm, moist air, preventing overheating and keeping you comfortable in varying conditions.
