Part of a RACE line that demonstrates that ski racing is in HEAD’s DNA, it’s cut from a high-performance 100% polyester fabric with two layers and a mechanical stretch. To protect against moisture and cold air, this PFC-free jacket has a fixed hood, a fixed snow gaiter and taped seams, and the insulating 100% polyester padding will keep you cosy. There is a YKK® AquaGuard® COIL® zipper at the center front and SAB® coil zippers on the hand pockets. The innovations include the Intelligent IAM2020 Membrane, which offers the highest level of waterproofness and breathability, along with the Moisture Transfer Microfiber technology, which helps fabric to dry quickly, keeping you warm. IAM2020:

Technology:

Taped Seams:
- Seams are a weak point on clothing where moisture and wind can penetrate. That is why the seams on the inside of our products are sealed with tape. This tape is machine-welded onto the seam and closes it completely.

PFC Free:
- Textiles in the outdoor sector are usually treated with PFCs (polifluorinated chemicals) to make them water and oil repellent. These chemicals are controversial because of their harmfulness to both human health and the environment. We try to avoid them where ever possible.

MXM:
- Intense competitions and hard training sessions demand a lot from clothing. For this purpose we developed the HEAD Sportswear MXM (Moisture Transfer Microfibre) technology. These high-performing microfibres move sweat to the surface of the material where it is efficiently removed. This brings a cooling effect and allows the material to dry quickly.

IAM 2020:
- Based on the skier’s requirements we developed our own membrane – the IAM Membrane (Intelligent Apparel Membrane).
