I bought these for cycling in the rainy and winter conditions in ireland. There perfect. Very warm. Very comfortable. Well worth the money and they came a few days faster then first quoted. I'm very happy. you have to account for the fur in the size. Im usually a UK 7 in a boot and UK 8. UK 7.5. I needed 8.5 in these.

Very high quality of material and seams. Keeps feet dry from both sweat and external moisture. Really warm and comfortable - but the inner lining ("sock") is really thick and makes the shoes feel "small" and you need to go up 2-3 sizes for them to fit. The inner lining is completely removable and washable and replaceable. Very easy to put on / take off and these will last for many years!

Whats the recommended size for UK size 9 as reviews say to buy a size up or even 2 sizes up ?

I would take two sizes up. The inner sock makes the foot too tight. I wear a size 43 and the size that makes them comfortable for me is 45.

Go a size up. These boots are very comfortable and very warm. You won't need thick wellie socks with these. I have worn them out on Scottish boggy hillsides this winter without issue and really glad to have them.
