Karpos Alagan 2.0 jacket

KARPOS Alagan 2.0 Jacket - Men´s High-Performance Ski Mountaineering Jacket

Engineered for the dedicated ski mountaineer, the KARPOS Alagan 2.0 Jacket for Men is the ultimate companion for intense training sessions and fast-paced mountain ascents. Designed with input from elite athletes, this jacket strikes the perfect balance between protection, breathability, and freedom of movement, allowing you to push your limits in comfort. It´s the ideal choice for demanding aerobic activity in cold, variable conditions where managing heat and moisture is paramount.

The Alagan 2.0 excels through its intelligent hybrid construction. It provides essential Thermal performance, utilizing advanced Synthetic insulation to keep your core warm without the risk of overheating during strenuous climbs. Its primary function is to deliver exceptional breathability, actively wicking moisture away from your body to prevent that cold, clammy feeling when you stop. The outer fabric is treated with a DWR finish, offering reliable protection from light snow and moisture, though it is not a fully Waterproof garment, prioritizing breathability above all. It also provides light Windproof protection to shield you from chilly gusts on exposed ridges.

Experience unparalleled freedom of movement thanks to the jacket´s four-way Stretch fabric and its athletic, DYNAMIC FIT. This combination ensures the jacket moves with you like a second skin, offering unrestricted motion for everything from kick turns to long poling strides. The minimalist, Without Hood design reduces bulk and weight, making it perfect for layering under a hardshell in severe weather or for race-day efficiency.

Practical features are thoughtfully integrated for the ski mountaineer. Two large, zippered chest pockets are strategically placed for easy access even when wearing a harness or backpack, and are spacious enough to hold skins. The front Vislon® zip ensures quick and reliable opening and closing, even with gloves on. When conditions warm up, the Alagan 2.0 proves its versatility; it is highly Compressible and packs down neatly into your backpack, ready to be deployed when the temperature drops again. This is more than just a jacket; it is a vital piece of technical equipment for anyone serious about ski mountaineering.
