Karpos Storm Evo jacket

KARPOS Storm Evo Jacket - Women

Face the mountain´s most challenging conditions with the unwavering protection of the KARPOS Storm Evo Jacket for women. Engineered as the ultimate hardshell for demanding ski mountaineering, ice climbing, and winter expeditions, this jacket is your reliable shield when the weather turns against you. It allows you to push your limits with confidence, knowing you are fully protected from the elements without being weighed down.

The Storm Evo Jacket is built for those who demand peak performance from their gear. Its advanced synthetic construction offers an impenetrable barrier against the harshest winter weather. As a true windproof and waterproof garment, it stands up to driving snow, freezing rain, and high-altitude gales, allowing you to stay focused on your ascent. The entire garment features fully sealed seams and waterproof zippers, creating a fortress against moisture intrusion and ensuring you remain dry even during prolonged exposure to storms.

Despite its robust protective qualities, this hardshell jacket delivers exceptional breathability. During intense physical exertion like a steep climb or a fast ski tour, it efficiently wicks moisture vapor away from your body, preventing the clammy, chilling feeling of sweat buildup. This superior moisture management is enhanced by large underarm ventilation zips, which you can open for rapid cooling and personalized climate control. The design provides essential thermal regulation by blocking wind, trapping heat from your mid-layers, and preventing overheating during activity.

Functionality is at the core of the Storm Evo’s design. The fully adjustable, helmet-compatible hood offers complete coverage without impeding peripheral vision, featuring a rigid visor to keep precipitation out of your eyes. The women´s specific fit is tailored for freedom of movement, allowing for a full range of motion while climbing or skiing. Adjustments at the wrist cuffs and a drawcord at the bottom hem allow you to seal out drafts and snow for a secure, customized fit. For safety in low-light conditions, the jacket is finished with subtle reflective accents.

When it´s time to pack up, the jacket proves its versatility. Its lightweight and compressible nature means it takes up minimal space in your backpack, making it an essential piece of emergency and all-day gear. Two front zippered pockets are positioned for easy access even when wearing a harness or backpack, providing secure storage for essential items.
