POMOCA Protective Sheet 120 mm.

Ideal for protecting and preserving the adhesive coating of the seal skin.

Ensure the longevity and performance of your climbing skins with the POMOCA Protective Sheet 120 mm, an essential accessory for every dedicated backcountry skier and splitboarder. Your skins are a critical investment in your mountain adventures, and their adhesive layer is the key to reliable uphill traction. This protective sheet is meticulously designed by the experts at POMOCA to offer the ultimate solution for storing and transporting your skins, safeguarding the delicate glue from contamination, degradation, and damage.

The primary benefit of using the POMOCA Protective Sheet is the significant extension of your skins´ lifespan. When skins are stored with their adhesive sides folded together, the glue can bond too strongly, leading to tearing or uneven peeling that compromises its integrity. This sheet acts as a perfect barrier, preventing this damaging glue-to-glue contact. Furthermore, it shields the adhesive from common contaminants like dirt, pine needles, pet hair, and other debris that can accumulate in your pack or during storage, all of which drastically reduce the skin´s ability to stick to your ski base.

Featuring a unique, breathable design, the protective sheet allows moisture to escape from the adhesive layer during storage. This is crucial for preventing the growth of mold or mildew and maintaining the glue´s intended consistency, especially during long-term summer storage. By allowing the glue to breathe, you ensure it remains tacky and effective, providing consistent, trustworthy performance every time you head out. Say goodbye to frustrating moments in the field dealing with contaminated or failed glue; this sheet ensures your skins are in peak condition for your next ascent.

Designed for effortless use, the sheet is lightweight and easy to handle, even with gloves on. Its application is simple: after your tour, just lay the sheet onto the adhesive side of your skin before folding or rolling it for transport. It adds negligible weight and bulk to your pack, making it an indispensable part of your touring kit. The 120 mm width is perfectly suited for modern, wider touring and freeride skis, providing full coverage and protection for the majority of skins on the market. Whether you´re packing up for the drive home or putting your gear away for the season, the POMOCA Protective Sheet simplifies your routine and provides peace of mind. Preserve your investment and guarantee your skins are always ready for adventure with this vital piece of maintenance equipment
