SCOTT Proguide 89 Ski Skins: Precision-Cut for Peak Ski Touring Performance

Elevate your backcountry adventures with the SCOTT Proguide 89 Ski Skins, the ultimate companion for your Proguide 89 skis. Engineered for dedicated ski touring enthusiasts who demand reliability and efficiency, these skins offer a seamless experience from the skin track to the summit. Forget about frustrating setup and unreliable grip; the Proguide 89 skins are a ´Ready to use´ solution, allowing you to focus on the pristine ascent ahead. Designed specifically for ski touring, they provide the confidence and performance needed to conquer variable mountain terrain.

At the heart of their performance is a new Smart Hotmelt process. This advanced application facilitates effortless manipulation of the skins while ensuring an incredible, long-lasting adhesion to your ski base, even in challenging, cold, or wet conditions. You can trust your skins to stay put, giving you the confidence to tackle steep and icy ascents without hesitation.

The expertly crafted mix of Mohair and Nylon fibers delivers the best possible compromise between tenacious grip on the uphill and smooth, efficient glide on lower-angle terrain. This ´Mohair / Nylon Mixed´ construction is complemented by the innovative Fiber Seal Technology, an advanced treatment that ensures the skins stay dry and effectively prevents snow from balling up, maintaining lightweight performance throughout your tour. Furthermore, in a commitment to preserving the pristine environments we love to explore, our skins are made entirely without PFCs to respect nature.

Designed as a complete system, the Proguide 89 Skins are already perfectly cut to match the specific sidecut of the SCOTT Proguide 89 skis. The secure ´Tip loop / tail clip´ system provides a flawless fit. The integrated front hook creates a perfect match with the ski tip, a design that not only reduces overall weight but is also certified to prevent any snow penetration between the skin and the ski. At the back, a reliable tail clip ensures the skin remains in the correct position throughout the entire hike, eliminating the need for mid-climb adjustments and allowing for a consistently secure attachment.
