SMITH Scout Helmet: Unmatched Durability for All-Season Action

Dominate the mountain, the park, and the streets with the SMITH Scout helmet, the ultimate choice for alpine skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts who demand both style and substance. Engineered for the modern rider, the Scout combines a classic hardshell brimmed look with the cutting-edge technology and superior fit that define the SMITH brand. This helmet is built for those who push boundaries, offering robust protection and all-day comfort, whether you´re landing new tricks in the park or carving down fresh groomers. Its rugged design and versatile features make it an essential piece of gear for year-round adventures.

The Scout has the look and attitude you want from a hardshell brimmed helmet with all the tech and fit that sets a SMITH helmet apart. Our Bombshell construction is tough and durable. Our Lifestyle Fit System makes for a perfect fit that keeps your goggles in place when you wear them under your helmet. The Scout is designed specifically for progressive users that are pushing the limits and dialing in their bag of tricks.

Experience ultimate peace of mind with the advanced protection system. The tough-as-nails Bombshell construction is built to withstand high-impact situations and resist dings and dents, ensuring long-lasting durability season after season. Paired with the effective Airflow Climate Control, you can regulate your temperature with ease. The system features 8 strategically placed vents that work in concert with the AirEvac™ ventilation technology. This signature SMITH integration pulls warm, fog-causing air out of your goggles and exhausts it through the helmet´s vents, ensuring you maintain clear vision and a cool head during intense runs.

A perfect fit is non-negotiable, and the Scout delivers. The self-adjusting Lifestyle Fit System flexes to match the shape of your head, providing a secure and comfortable fit from the first chair to the last call. This system also brilliantly secures your goggles when worn underneath the helmet. For customized comfort and style, the helmet features removable Bombshell ear pads and is fully beanie compatible. On warmer days or for multi-season use, simply remove the ear pads to adapt to the conditions. The ear pads are also audio compatible, allowing you to easily install your aftermarket sound system and ride to your own beat. This is a dedicated helmet, sold Without Lens, giving you the freedom to pair it with your favorite SMITH goggles for a perfect, fog-free kit.
