Only tried the helmet on so not taken to the slopes but so far so good. Lots of vents which can be adjusted which is a plus. I measured my head and should have been a Medium but that was too small so went for a large. Bear this in mind, you might want to size up.

I like both the design and delivery. The downside is that I haven't actually tried it on, so I bought it only after looking at the size specs, but it's a little small. I will buy a good product again next time~

This is my second Smith Vantage helmet and its the most comfortable and cosy helmet on the market! Fits well, looks great, has adjustable vents, fleece lined chin strap and fleece lined inside. Also removable cosy ear pads (which I never remove as they're amazing!) I had a white one for 4 years and only sold as I bought a new black version for this season. Absolutely fab helmet and the only choice for me

Just wondering if the Snapfit Sl2 Ear Pads can be removed?

They can, see in skitalk: Step 1 : Gently remove the loop of the boa wire from the plastic hook/tab thingy near the temple. Step 2 : Pull the boa wire toward the rear of the helmet, through the plastic tab that's just behind the ear. Step 3: Repeat for the other side of the helmet. Step 4; Pull the now-free boa wire through the fabric of the whole earflap piece, which goes behind the head and connects both earpads.. Step 5. Set earflaps aside and thread the wires back through the "step 2" tab and over the temple hook.
