SWIX SB34D Plexi Scraper Snowboard

Category: Maintenance
Subcategory: Tools

Unleash the full potential of your snowboard with the SWIX SB34D Plexi Scraper, the essential tool for any rider serious about performance and board care. A perfectly prepared base is the foundation for maximum speed, control, and an effortless glide on the slopes. This professional-grade scraper is specifically engineered to remove excess glide wax, revealing a fast, smooth, and structured base ready to conquer any condition. Designed by the experts at Swix, this tool transforms your waxing routine from a chore into a precise step towards peak performance.

The SWIX SB34D is meticulously crafted to give you a professional-grade finish in your own home or workshop. Its superior design allows for the efficient and clean removal of cooled wax without damaging the delicate structure of your snowboard´s base. Proper scraping is a critical step that ensures the wax works to its full potential, reducing friction and protecting your board for a longer lifespan. By investing in a quality tool like the SB34D, you are investing in the performance and longevity of your snowboard, ensuring every run is better than the last. The stability and rigidity of the scraper give you the confidence to apply even pressure, resulting in a perfectly flat and uniform surface every time.

Follow the professional´s method for optimal results:

Wider plexi scraper for snowboards.

How to use:

Heat in the glide wax with a waxing iron.

Scrape away any excess wax with the plexi scraper when cold.

Brush away the remaining wax with a wire/bronze brush.

Use Swix T410 or T412-220 to keep your plexi scraper sharp.

Features:

4 mm thick.

Fits snowboards.

The secret to a flawless scrape lies not just in technique, but in the tool itself. The robust 4 mm thickness of the SB34D provides unwavering stability and durability. Unlike thinner, flimsy scrapers that can bend and create uneven surfaces, this scraper maintains its shape, allowing for powerful and controlled strokes from tip to tail. This rigidity translates to a more effective scrape with less effort, saving you time and ensuring a superior finish.

Engineered specifically for the wider profile of modern snowboards, the SB34D’s generous width means fewer passes are needed to clear the entire base. This efficiency not only speeds up your maintenance routine but also promotes a more consistent and level finish across the board´s surface. A sharp edge is paramount for clean wax removal, and this scraper is designed for longevity. To maintain its peak performance, regularly re-sharpen your scraper with a dedicated tool like the Swix T410 or T412-220. A sharp scraper cuts the wax cleanly rather than smearing it, which is essential for opening up the base structure for optimal glide. Elevate your maintenance game and experience the difference a professional tool can make.

What our customers are saying about Swix SB34D Plexi Scraper Snowboard

This wide wax scraper is praised for its performance on snowboards and extra wide skis. Its thickness, rigidity, and sharp edge make scraping wax easy and efficient. The scraper is considered extremely durable, though some find the pointed corners a potential risk to the board. While most appreciate its rigidity, a few users noted it felt slightly soft

Normal size and density with very smooth and sharp edges. However, I would like to remove the pointed corners because they can damage the board
