Unlock the ultimate performance from your skis or snowboard with the VOLA Pro Sidewall Tool, the definitive instrument for achieving professional-grade edge precision. Designed for competitive racers, ski technicians, and meticulous winter sports enthusiasts, this tool is the essential first step in any serious edge tuning process. By cleanly and accurately removing the ABS sidewall material, it exposes the full height of the steel edge, allowing your files and diamond stones to work unimpeded for a sharper, more consistent, and longer-lasting edge finish. Experience unparalleled grip on hardpack and ice, enhanced carving ability, and the confidence that comes from a perfectly prepared ski.

The primary benefit of using the VOLA Pro Sidewall Tool is the dramatic improvement in your edge maintenance routine. It eliminates the frustrating and inefficient process of files slipping or becoming clogged with plastic, ensuring every pass with your file directly sharpens the steel. This not only saves you time and effort but also extends the life of your expensive tuning files (´Limes´). The result is a flawlessly smooth and precisely angled edge that engages with the snow exactly as intended, providing superior control and responsiveness on every turn. Elevate your home workshop to a professional standard and feel the difference on the mountain.

Main Features:

Engineered for precision and ease of use, the VOLA Pro Sidewall Tool boasts a highly ergonomic design that fits comfortably in your hand, providing exceptional stability and control during operation. Its robust construction ensures durability and consistent performance season after season. The tool´s core feature is its extensive adjustability, allowing you to perfectly tailor the cut to any ski or snowboard. You can precisely control both the depth of the cut and the lateral position of the blade, ensuring you remove only the necessary amount of sidewall material without ever touching the precious steel edge. This level of micro-adjustment is critical for adapting to different ski constructions and personal tuning preferences.

The tool is equipped with a high-quality, durable round cutter blade. This round blade is specifically chosen for its ability to produce a smooth, clean, and progressive cut, preventing chattering or gouging of the sidewall. Its shape allows for multiple cutting surfaces as it can be rotated, significantly extending its usable life before needing replacement.

Simple and Effective Operation:

This edge tool with its round blade allows for many adjustments to suit your specific needs. To achieve a perfect cut, follow these steps:
1. Adjust the tool so that the knife falls precisely on the sidewall, just above the steel edge.
2. Secure your ski on its side, for example in a tuning vise.
3. Place the tool flat on the base of the ski, with the blade aligned against the sidewall.
4. With firm, steady pressure, pull the tool towards you along the length of the ski to clear the edge. Work in smooth, long strokes for the best results.
