The FINIS Swim Parachute 20 cm is a very effective training tool that does exactly what it’s supposed to do – it provides solid resistance and helps improve power and technique in the water. However, there are a couple of small but noticeable issues. The waist belt is quite long, which makes it less ideal for slimmer swimmers with a waist of around 60–65 cm. It lacks any adjustment buckles or loops, so you often end up with excess strap flapping around. Additionally, the welding/finishing at the end of the strap is rather sharp and rough, which could be more comfortable and better executed, especially considering it’s a FINIS product. Overall, I’m quite satisfied with its performance. With a couple of small improvements to the strap design and finishing, it would be even better.
