Very thin and light; yet it absorbs moisture superbly and evaporates it quickly, so it doesn't soak up any moisture. And despite being bald and a heavy sweater, I've never had beads of sweat form under the headband or in my eyes. I have no idea how that little piece of fabric manages to do that—with my head! Truly a magic headband ;)
