Hummel River Tex jacket

HUMMEL hmlRIVER TEX JACKET | Waterproof & Windproof Kids´ Outerwear

Equip your young explorer for any adventure, rain or shine, with the HUMMEL hmlRIVER TEX JACKET. Designed for active boys and girls who love the outdoors, this jacket combines superior technical performance with smart, kid-friendly features. Whether they´re on a hiking trail, walking to school, or navigating the urban jungle, this jacket is the ultimate shield against the elements.

Crafted in a recycled woven fabric, the hmlRIVER TEX JACKET is the ultimate choice for protection against the elements to keep your little one warm and dry. This conscious choice of material doesn´t just feel good; it represents a step towards a more sustainable future without compromising on durability or performance. The synthetic fabric provides excellent thermal insulation, ensuring warmth on chilly days.

Advanced Weather Protection

This hummel® jacket includes a fluorine-free water-repellent finish (WP8000/MVP5000), a hummelTEX membrane and a BIONIC FINISH® ECO coating to defend against the wind and rain. This triple-layer defense system is engineered for maximum protection. The impressive waterproof rating of WP 8000 means it can withstand heavy, sustained rain, ensuring your child remains completely dry. It´s also entirely windproof, blocking cold gusts to maintain core body temperature.

Crucially, performance doesn´t come at the cost of comfort. With a breathability rating of MVP 5000, the jacket allows internal moisture and sweat to escape, preventing that clammy feeling during active play. To guarantee a fully impenetrable barrier against moisture, the jacket features fully taped seams, leaving no entry point for water.

Smart Design for Active Kids

Functionality is at the heart of the hmlRIVER TEX JACKET. It is complete with a detachable hood, offering versatile protection that can be removed on dry, less windy days for a more lightweight feel. The full zipper down the front makes it easy for kids to put on and take off by themselves, while the secure zipped pocket on the right side provides a safe place for them to store small treasures found on their adventures. For a customised and snug fit, an adjustable drawstring is located inside the hem, allowing you to tighten the jacket to keep out drafts and lock in warmth.
