Just tried these out squatting and they are rock solid. I had Adidas Adipower 2's for 5 years but I bought those a little on the small side because I really liked a tight shoe when I squatted heavy....just a psychological thing. But, they started bugging my toes, so took the leap and bought these. I usually take a size 11 but had to go to an 11.5 in these, they do fit quite snug. If they hold up as long as the Adipowers did (which are still in amazing shape), which they look like they will, then it will be a GREAT purchase.
