The carpet is not hard, it sags under the things placed on it, but if you remove it, the surface is restored. Good quality, reduces noise and vibration. I heard that some carpets from other firms are hard, which does not even push through. This one isn't, but I don't see a problem.

Big, very big, you could even sleep in it because of how big it is, enter the roller, the bike and the support with the tablet and you could also put the grandmother with the rocking chair. Joking aside, it looks like it is made of good material, a bit padded and of a good size, perhaps a bit expensive, but the quality pays off. Recommendable.

So I don´t think it makes a difference. The mats with the white lettering were certainly produced before Garmin took over Tacx and all of the mats with the blue lettering were produced after the takeover. But it is only a guess.
