Description summary

Dominate every challenge with confidence. ADIDAS Ankle Guards offer elite protection for football players seeking enhanced ankle support. Featuring an integrated, form-fitting sock design with strategically placed protective elements and a secure underfoot strap, these guards ensure a locked-in, comfortable fit that stays put. Lightweight yet robust, they absorb impact from tackles and collisions without compromising agility. Focus on your game, knowing your ankles are shielded for peak performance from kickoff to the final whistle

ADIDAS Ankle Guards: Elite Protection for Unrivaled Performance

Dominate the pitch with unwavering confidence in every challenge. The adidas Ankle Guard is the essential piece of protective equipment for the modern football player who refuses to hold back. Specifically designed for football players who require enhanced ankle protection on the pitch, the adidas Ankle Guard has a snug, reinforced design and an underfoot strap for the perfect fit all through the match. This crucial gear allows you to focus purely on your game, knowing your ankles are shielded from hard tackles and unexpected impacts.

Engineered for both security and comfort, these guards provide a crucial layer of defence without compromising your agility. The intelligent design integrates robust protective elements directly into a soft, flexible sock, creating a single, seamless unit. This eliminates the bulk and awkwardness of traditional, separate guards, offering a streamlined, second-skin feel. Move, pivot, and accelerate with complete freedom, as the lightweight construction ensures your natural movement is never restricted. The primary benefit is the complete peace of mind it offers, empowering you to play with aggression and commitment, whether you´re defending your goal or driving towards the opponent´s.

The construction focuses on a locked-in feel that lasts for the full 90 minutes and beyond. Forget about constant adjustments mid-game; the innovative underfoot strap is a key feature that anchors the guard firmly in place. It secures the entire apparatus, preventing it from slipping or twisting during intense play. This ensures the protective discs remain perfectly positioned over your vulnerable ankle bones, providing consistent, reliable shielding exactly where you need it most. The result is a stable, supportive fit that feels like an extension of your own body, allowing you to maintain maximum focus and peak performance from kickoff to the final whistle.
---

Features:

* Integrated Sock Design: A comfortable, form-fitting polyester sock that houses strategically placed protective ankle elements for targeted shielding.
* Secure Underfoot Strap: An essential elasticated strap that fits under the foot, guaranteeing a snug, locked-in fit that prevents the guard from riding up during play.
* Reinforced Protection: Hard-wearing protective discs are positioned on either side of the ankle to absorb and distribute impact from tackles and collisions.
* Lightweight Construction: Designed to provide maximum protection with minimal weight, ensuring your speed and agility on the pitch are never compromised.

Tested out in football, they feel really good, nice to give a bit more protection for the old ankles without having to wear shin pads. Also i would say the protection around the ankle padding is better than my shin pads as well.

2025/03/17

StokeyLuke

My son (11 but tall for his age) was fed up with receiving cuts and grazes to his ankles when playing academy football. As these are One Size Fits all I wonder how well they would fit a large adult, but they are stretchy, & in the absence of any / many competing products I would certainly recommend them.

They certainly do add a good level of protection but I found them to be quite large. I´ve been wearing my boots without any ankle protection for a few weeks with no issues. I put these on and my heel ended up with a blister.
