The look and design is fine, but has two issues. The actual ankle guard (the plastic[?] bit) isn’t very tough. It’s fairly small and feels like it could only take a few whacks before it shatters. The second (and greater) issue is that the shin pads are too small. I got the XL size and they’re still about 2 inches too short - we all know size matters! I’m 6”2, so I’m tall but not a giant, so an XL should have been more than enough.
