VERTEX PISTON 24370C Piston Kit | Engines > Top End

Restore Peak Performance and Reliability to Your 85cc Engine with the VERTEX 24370C Piston Kit

Breathe new life into your 2-stroke machine with the VERTEX 24370C Cast Replica Piston Kit, the industry standard for superior quality and performance in top-end engine rebuilding. Engineered in Italy and trusted by top-level race teams and discerning riders worldwide, Vertex pistons are crafted to meet and exceed the most stringent OEM specifications. This complete kit provides everything you need for a precise and durable top-end refresh, ensuring your engine returns to its factory-fresh power and responsiveness.

The VERTEX 24370C is not just a replacement part; it´s an upgrade in reliability. Designed as a direct Cast Replica, it ensures a perfect, drop-in fit for your 85cc engine without any modifications. The core of this piston is its advanced, gravity-cast aluminum alloy construction. This specific material is chosen for its exceptional lightweight properties and high silicon content, which provides superior strength and controls thermal expansion. This results in a more stable piston, maintaining optimal running clearance even under the extreme temperatures and pressures of high-performance 2-stroke operation, thus reducing the risk of seizure and ensuring consistent power delivery.

Key Benefits and Main Features:

* OEM-Level Quality: Manufactured as a Cast Replica, this piston guarantees a flawless fit and performance equivalent to, or better than, the original factory part, making for a straightforward and reliable installation.
* Enhanced Durability and Longevity: The piston is fortified with a Moly Coated skirt. This Molybdenum Disulphide (MOS2) coating is a critical feature that significantly reduces friction during the crucial engine break-in period and continues to minimize wear and scuffing throughout the piston´s service life.
* Superior Sealing and Compression: The kit includes high-performance, Nitride Coated rings. This advanced surface treatment provides exceptional hardness and wear resistance, allowing the rings to maintain a superior seal against the cylinder wall for maximum compression and power output over a longer period.
* Optimized Thermal Stability: The high-quality cast aluminum alloy construction ensures excellent heat dissipation and controlled thermal expansion, leading to tighter tolerances and a more efficient, reliable engine performance from cold start to full race temperature.

Whether you are performing scheduled maintenance, rebuilding after a failure, or simply aiming to restore that crisp, responsive power your 85cc 2-stroke engine is known for, the VERTEX 24370C Piston Kit delivers the quality, precision, and performance you can depend on.
