First sensations

After several weeks testing the Altra Experience Wild 2 , I can say I´ve been pleasantly surprised. These shoes allow me to combine stretches of asphalt with dirt roads and simple trails , fitting perfectly into that profile. The new extra eyelet allows for better adjustment of ankle support, and the D-ring for gaiters is a great addition if you run on dusty or fine-gravel terrain. All of this adds up to a very balanced and practical shoe. Additionally, the padding on the tongue and heel is generous without being excessive, which greatly improves the feeling of comfort on long runs.

Regarding durability, after about 100 km, they´re still working very well , with no apparent signs of wear. With the overall improvement in materials, they´re likely to hold up better than the previous version, making them a very solid choice in the medium and long term.
