Subjection

2025/05/13

PATRICIA

The ice axe protector does its job well, but I think it's important to keep it securely fastened, as wrapping it around the handle doesn't guarantee a secure fit. This is my second order, as I had the first one attached as per the instructions and it was easily lost.

Simple but it works

Mantoide

I have caused some damage or other with the tip of the ice ax, and it has been essential to get a protector to cover it. Considering that I already had a Black Diamond ax protector for the same ice ax, I have opted for the equivalent for the tip, also from BD, and it's perfect.

Not quite universal

2023/04/04

carmen

I have it for 3 ice ax models and it does the trick, but the truth is that it barely covers the tip, you have to tighten it a lot so that it doesn't come off. Luckily the rubber seems quite thick so it holds up well under stress. Better not to tighten it so much while the ice ax is stored out of season so that it does not give of itself.
