Born from GABEL´s racing heritage, the SLD-R is meticulously designed to provide the perfect balance of strength, agility, and ergonomic excellence. Whether you are an expert skier, a passionate instructor, or a competitive racer, these poles are your key to shaving seconds off your time and attacking the gates with absolute confidence. Experience a new level of connection to the snow and elevate your skiing from the starting gate to the finish line.

The GABEL SLD-R is engineered for one primary purpose: to excel in the high-impact, high-speed world of slalom. Every feature is optimized for competitive performance on the slopes. The pole’s robust, fixed-length profile provides unwavering stability and direct power transfer, ensuring that every push-off propels you forward with maximum efficiency. Its specialized design is built to withstand repeated contact with slalom gates, allowing you to maintain an aggressive and tight line without hesitation. The aerodynamic construction minimizes drag, giving you a critical advantage where every millisecond counts. This is more than just a pole; it’s a high-performance instrument built for victory.

At the heart of the SLD-R´s superior handling is its advanced grip and strap system. The pole features the acclaimed Tiger ergonomic grip, designed specifically for a secure and comfortable handhold during aggressive skiing. This allows for precise pole plants and exceptional control, even through chattery and icy sections of the course. Complementing the grip is the professional-grade World Cup race strap, which ensures a secure, responsive connection between your hand and the pole. This system is critical for maximizing power transmission, allowing you to generate explosive speed out of the gate and through every turn.

Perfect for both men and women, these adult fixed-length poles are the ultimate tool for dedicated alpine skiers focused on performance on groomed slopes and competitive racing environments. The pole´s design ensures a firm and reliable plant on even the most hard-packed and icy surfaces, thanks to a specialized tip system that delivers exceptional purchase. This crucial feature provides the stability and confidence needed to push your limits. Paired with a minimalist, low-profile basket designed to reduce drag and prevent snagging on gates, the entire system works in harmony to support your quest for speed. Choose the GABEL SLD-R and feel the difference that race-bred engineering makes.
