Unrivaled Optical Performance

This lens isn´t just a replacement; it´s an upgrade. At its core is Giro´s revolutionary VIVID lens technology, developed in partnership with the optical experts at Zeiss. VIVID technology masterfully manipulates blue light, enhancing contrast and definition. The result is a dramatic reduction in eye strain and fatigue, allowing you to see snow texture and terrain changes with incredible precision. By filtering out the "bad" light and letting in the "good," this lens helps shorten your reaction time, providing a significant safety advantage as you navigate moguls, ice patches, and fresh powder. See every nuance of the snow, from sun-up to sun-down.

Designed for All-Mountain Versatility

Perfectly suited for the most common ski and snowboard conditions, this Category 2 (Cat. 2) lens is a true all-rounder. It excels in cloudy, overcast, and mixed low-light environments, providing the ideal amount of light transmission to keep your vision sharp without being overwhelming. The durable polycarbonate construction ensures robust protection against impact while also shielding your eyes from biting wind and cold. Understanding VLT (Visible Light Transmission):

VLT is an abbreviation for Visible Light Transmission and indicates the percentage of visible light that passes through the lens. A lower percentage means a darker tint, while a higher percentage means a lighter tint. For example, a lens with a VLT of 20% is optimal for strong sunlight. Conversely, a lens with a VLT of 75% is best suited for darker lighting conditions like night skiing. This Cat. 2 lens provides a balanced VLT perfect for variable and overcast days
