Technology:

Taped Seams:
- Seams are a weak point on clothing where moisture and wind can penetrate. That is why the seams on the inside of our products are sealed with tape. This tape is machine-welded onto the seam and closes it completely. We make a distinction between “fully seam taping”, where all seams are closed, and “critical seam taping”, where only seams that are in critical places, such as the shoulder area, are closed.

100 % PFC FREE:
- Textiles in the outdoor sector are treated with a chemical finish (durable water repellency - DWR) to make them water- and oil-repellent. Fluorocarbon compounds, which are also called per- or polyfluorinated chemicals (PFCs), are usually used for this purpose. These chemicals are controversial because of their harmfulness to both human health and the environment. At HEAD Sportswear, we are striving to convert all fabrics treated with DWR to become PFC-free in the long term. This enables us to protect people and the environment.

Moisture Transfer Microfibre:
- These high-performing microfibres move sweat to the surface of the material where it is efficiently removed. This allows the material to dry quickly.

Intelligent Apparel Membrane:
- High-performing, intelligent membrane designed to optimise breathability and comfort. With a breathability of 20,000 g/m2 /24h and a water column of 20,000mm, the membrane offers reliable water resistance and unique climate management.
