The Squad is a solid medium fit, but by no means small. Very comfortable, with excellent lens clarity. I've not tried these out on the mountain yet, but previous Smith goggles have performed well. However, I have tried them for fit, and to test the Photochromic lens. This works great in all sun conditions (Smith state 16-55% VLT), so no need for a spare lens. The Chromapop technology is excellent, and on a par with Oakley's Prizm and Dragon's Lumalens. Apart from the lens, I went for the Squad because I wear my goggles under a helmet and other Smith goggles have the annoying plastic clip on the strap, which is uncomfortable. If you just want one pair of goggles to do it all, these are a great choice.
