The FINIS Floating Fins increase leg strength and help athletes swim at faster speeds. With its long, hydrodynamic blade, the Floating Fins add propulsion to flutter and butterfly kick. Buoyancy from the fins lifts the legs to the surface reducing drag from the rest of the body. The Floating Fins closed heel design provides protection against overflexion of the ankles and increases comfort.

I had the opportunity to try this fin before ordering, so no surprise. Important to mention, that they are highly oversized, at least when you have wide feet. I have EU 41, US 8 wide feet, the 42-44 fin is the perfect match (I tried the 44-46 before ordering, and that was also ok). If in doubt, choose the bigger one.

These work well but I had to buy a larger size than I thought I would need according to my shoe size. This seems to be a common issue to judge by the comments. I have average size feet and needed the largest size - pity there is nothing larger for adults with big feet. Good for use as long as you can get into the water without having ,to walk across a hard surface or a stony beach. A plastic type such as something from the Cressi range would last better if you are walking on a rough surface on your way to the sea or lake.

I take blue which are stamped US 11-13 EU 44-48 AUS 9-11, and my feet are 10 cm wide and 27 cm heel to longest toe. The width across the big toe joint is the most critical. If you are lucky the largest size might fit. The sizing may have changed since I got them nearly two years ago.
