I never thought about getting a snorkel for swimming, but before my vacation by the sea, my friends brought snorkels for snorkeling in the ocean. It occurred to me that since I'm getting a snorkel, I'll try it for swimming. I am incredibly surprised by how much it helped me. I'm still learning front crawl, and breathing has been a challenge. After a few days in the pool with the snorkel, my breathing has improved significantly. I will continue to use the snorkel for technical improvements in my style. A great purchase at a good price.
