I'm in 42 shoes, I bought 41 and it looks great on me. Ideally, it fits snug so it doesn't bother you when you kick and it doesn't move and you avoid friction with the heel. The product came well presented with a small bag with holes to easily carry them with you.

I´m 42 in footwear, here I ordered 40-41, the idea is that it fits snugly because due to the swimming position and since you don´t wear socks it should be tight, as for the rubber, I don´t know if it´s silicone but it´s not hard. Like others that I have tried, on the sides it is more flexible, I wanted to attach a photo so you can see it below but I don´t see that option, the weight in size 40-41 is 246 grams, I have been using it for more than a month, I do series of 500 meters with and it is quite good, on the inside where the foot goes it has some very fine small round reliefs that make it look very good, I have used several speedo brands etc and it is the best so far
