I found that with the various brands and models it´s trial and error before finding the size that fits about right. For my jeans waist size 32 (EU) I find 36 (UK), 90 (F) the best fit for me, for training use. For competition, depends if you like, you can take a size smaller for a tighter fit. Notice that this model you cannot compare to some other brand race jammers where it takes 5 to 10 minutes to sneak in. This is my 3rd mf-x: it´s durable, comfortable and has a nice fit. Hope this helps.
