I connected this to an Asus RT-AC88U via AiMesh & now I can connect to the 5GHz channel out in my shed, so I'm happy with it. As other reviewers have noted this unit comes with a European plug so if you're not in Europe you'll need an adapter (I was expecting that so no -1 star for that). Works fine in New Zealand, just sticks a long way out from the wall.

The one I received was a Europlug, even if the picture shown the US type. Plugged it in an adapter and it´s been working fine for 12+ months.
