Crafted for exceptional durability and longevity, the 008CSU is a chrome plated steel stand. 2 sections, 1 riser. 1 levelling leg. This high-quality steel construction not only ensures maximum strength to handle heavy payloads but also provides excellent resistance to corrosion and daily wear and tear. The polished chrome finish gives it a professional appearance that looks at home on any set, reflecting the quality and reliability that the Manfrotto brand is known for. This is not just a stand; it is a long-term investment in the safety and security of your gear.

At the heart of the 008CSU’s incredible stability is its double-braced leg base. This design feature significantly reinforces the stand´s structure, creating an exceptionally wide and secure footprint with a maximum diameter of 118 cm. This ensures that the stand remains firmly planted, minimizing any risk of tipping or wobbling, even when extended to its maximum height or when supporting off-center loads. With a formidable maximum payload capacity of 18 kg, you can confidently mount large monolights, heavy fresnels, LED panels, or camera sliders without concern.

Versatility is paramount for the modern creative, and the 008CSU excels with its universal mounting options. It comes equipped with a universal head type 14, which includes a standard 28mm junior socket and a retractable 16mm baby pin stud. This industry-standard combination provides seamless compatibility with a vast array of lighting fixtures and grip equipment from virtually any manufacturer, making it an indispensable and flexible tool in your kit.

Working on uneven ground is a common challenge during location shoots. The Manfrotto 008CSU brilliantly solves this problem with the inclusion of an integrated levelling leg. This allows you to individually adjust one leg´s length, enabling you to compensate for slopes, curbs, or uneven terrain to achieve a perfectly level and stable setup. This feature is crucial for maintaining safety and achieving precise, repeatable results no matter where your work takes you.
