I use the TCL primarily for reading documents and books and browsing the internet. I'm very satisfied with the tablet: the battery lasts about four days and it charges quickly. I like the clean screen and the fact that you can connect the e-reader mode to apps so you don't have to manually configure it every time. It wasn't difficult for me to figure out how it works, and a manual can be found online if needed. All the apps I want to use are already installed (and more), so I don't have any issues with space or anything like that. I find it fast enough for what I use it for.

Especially for the price. I got mine as an ereader replacement. It works very well for that without giving me the eyestrain I get off a standard tablet screen (Using Moonreader pro). For me the functionality as a general tablet was a nice bonus. Techinn's delivery time to the UK was on the longer side, but the price was so much lower than any UK supplier that on balance this was bearable (I got the pen and case as well). Tracking was fine. I was impressed that Techinn supplied a UK converter even though I hadn't asked for one!

placing an order on New Year's Eve is not the best idea for fast delivery... but my order arrived, I am happy with this purchase, I can read my newspapers, magazines, books, surf the net. It is comfortable for my eyesight, it is not an e-reader in full sunlight facing the sun it is less "readable" but still an improvement compared to my tablet whose brand I will not name....

Display is beautiful in color and monochrome modes. Performance is good for a tablet, with primary uses being reading, email, browsing, playing music and movies, as well as some games. I had an issue with mine getting stuck in landscape mode and Tradeinn is working through the problem with me.

The case and pen are not included. That said, I bought the official TCL folio case and Pen from Techinn when I bought the tablet since they were also much cheaper than elsewhere.

110V compatible charger

Hello, I live in Canada where the current is 110V, but the description indicates that the charger is 220V. Is it possible to charge at 110V without damage?

The charger that came with mine can take an input voltage of 100-240v according to the details on the side of it (I'm in the UK - Techinn included a UK 3 pin to euro 2 pin converter, which was good). The tablet will charge with a standard USB charger, but will only fast charge with the supplied charger (which is 18W). In short, you should be able to use it to charge at 110V - but may need to get a higher power charger to fast charge if it doesn't work. Otherwise you can use a standard USB phone charger for slower charging.

Handwriting recognition would be a function of the app you're using. Note-taking apps such as Microsoft One Note can convert handwriting into typed text. As an additional note, the tablet does not come with an active pen, so that must be purchased separately.

yes, just use the "handwriting" of the google gboard keyboard; it converts to text in real time. so potentially you can do it with all android tablets. on google play there are also apps that recognize handwriting and convert it
