The Velbon ball head series ´´B´´ was designed with the intention to be particularly light and yet robust. For this reason, the special organic polymer PPS, which is a high-temperature resistant and robust thermoplastic, was used as the basis for the construction of the ball heads. With 111 g and a load capacity of 1.5 kg, B31M is the smallest head in the B series. All four models in the series feature a wing screw to adjust the head. In addition, the heads have a recess on both sides so that a 90 degree tilt is possible. The camera is connected to the head via a quick-release plate (QB32), which can be placed on the head in two positions.
