I bought these Adidas Terrex Trailmakers to substitute my leather upper walking boots for use in the Mediterranean islands since a new pair of leather boots will take many months of wearing in to be comfortable for the next adventure, especially around the ankles. These Adidas Terrex Trail makers are really beautiful, the ankle support is good as is general foot support, space for the toes couldn't be better, and the soles are hard enough for rocky terrains. However, the front upper area is soft and will permit thorns to pierce it easily causing me immediate distress. I shall certainly keep them for general use, but not for the original intended purpose. Please note my foot size is 26.5cm X 9cm without a sock. In general with Adidas, if the shoe is soft, such as a runner, then size 44 is perfect, but in case it's hard, ie. made of leather or synthetic stiff materials, then 44 2/3 is the appropriate size to avoid stress around the toe area. Excellent communication from TrekkInn from start to end, plus shipping was swift and equally communicative.

I've recently bought a pair of Terrex joggers from Trekkinn in this model and decided to buy another pair for mountain bike trail riding. These shoes are tough, durable and stylish to boot.
