Designed for the dedicated splitboarder who demands efficiency, reliability, and peak performance, these skins are your key to unlocking new terrain. Whether you´re embarking on long tours or tackling ambitious big-mountain objectives, the Glide skins provide a superior balance of traction and glide, allowing you to conserve energy on the ascent and save it for the ride down. Experience the pinnacle of climbing skin technology, built for universal compatibility and customizable for a perfect fit on your Burton splitboard.

We partnered with G3 to create the Burton Universal Splitskins Glide climbing skins. Their synthetic and mohair plush blend balances grip and glide in a lightweight, compact design made for long tours and big backcountry days in all snow conditions. They set the bar for tip and tail connections, and are designed to fit your Burton board right out of the box. Just trim to your width with the included tool.

Smooth Glide
The low-profile mohair mix plush makes the Glide skins the most efficient for cold, dry snow conditions. This specialized blend minimizes friction, allowing you to move effortlessly across varied terrain, from flat approaches to steep ascents. The optimized glide means every step is more productive, reducing fatigue and enabling you to push further into the mountains with confidence.

Secure Connection
An innovative tip and tail clip works with a variety of board shapes to offer a secure connection and easy removal for smooth transitions. This industry-leading hardware ensures your skins stay locked in place, even during challenging kick-turns or on icy, off-camber traverses. The self-aligning tip and camming tail clip system is intuitive and robust, allowing for lightning-fast transitions from climb to ride mode, so you spend less time fussing with gear and more time enjoying the descent.

Light and Packable
Skins are lightweight and low-profile for easy folding and stowing in your pack. Every gram counts when you’re deep in the backcountry, and the Glide skins were built with this principle in mind. Their minimalist design packs down small, freeing up valuable space in your pack for other essentials without compromising on-snow performance.
