Warm, Dry, and Easy-On Winter Mittens for the Smallest Hands

Prepare your little ones for a world of winter wonder with the Burton Mini Mittens, expertly designed for toddlers and young children. Say goodbye to the frustrating struggle of getting mittens on tiny, wriggling hands. These mittens are the ultimate solution for parents seeking warm, dry, and hassle-free protection for their boys and girls. Whether it´s their first time seeing snow, a day at the ski school, or just building a snowman in the backyard, the Mini Mittens provide the dependable comfort and performance Burton is known for, perfectly scaled down for the youngest members of your crew.

The standout feature that parents will adore is the brilliantly simple entry system. An extra-long side zipper, paired with a secure hook-and-loop closure, allows the mitten to open up wide, making it incredibly easy to slide over small hands and thumbs. This thoughtful design eliminates pre-adventure meltdowns and gets you out the door and into the fun faster.

Unbeatable Weather Protection

Don´t let cold and wet conditions cut the day short. The Burton Mini Mittens are built to handle winter´s worst. At the heart of their performance is the waterproof DRYRIDE membrane 2.0. This extra-thin, highly effective barrier completely seals out wind and water, ensuring hands stay perfectly dry. More than just a barrier, this advanced membrane is also breathable, actively wicking away moisture from the inside out. This means even during active play, sweat is pulled away from the skin, preventing the damp, chilling effect that can lead to cold fingers. The shell is constructed from a durable, Bluesign® Approved DRYRIDE™ 2-Layer Shell Fabric, offering a first line of defense against the elements while meeting the highest standards of sustainable manufacturing.

Low-Bulk Warmth for All-Day Comfort

Keeping little hands warm is the top priority, and the ThermacoreECO insulation delivers exceptional performance. This lightweight and breathable insulation provides a super-comfortable feel and powerful, low-bulk warmth that cranks up the heat without restricting movement. Little ones can still easily grab snowballs, hold onto ski poles, or grip the sled handles. The quick-drying properties are a lifesaver for multi-day use, and parents can feel good about its eco-friendly construction. As a bluesign® approved material, it features over 90% recycled fibers, offering long-lasting durability and all-around easy care for a product that’s as kind to the planet as it is to your child.

For the tech-savvy generation, the Screen Grab® synthetic PU on the thumb and palm allows for basic touchscreen use without exposing hands to the cold—perfect for a quick photo or a game on a tablet in the car. Finally, the attached leash ensures that a mitten never gets lost on the lift or dropped in the snow, providing peace of mind for parents and uninterrupted fun for kids.
