Breathe new life into your trusted mountaineering gear with the EDELRID Shark Front Crampons. This essential replacement part is meticulously engineered for alpinists and mountaineers who demand unwavering traction and reliability in challenging alpine environments. Whether your original front sections have seen many seasons of adventure or you´re customising your setup, this component restores the peak performance of your EDELRID crampons, ensuring you can move with confidence on everything from glacial flats to steep, icy couloirs.

Crafted with the precision and quality synonymous with the EDELRID brand, this front part is your guarantee for continued safety and efficiency on the mountain. It allows for a cost-effective and sustainable way to maintain your equipment, ensuring you only replace the parts that need it.

Key Benefits:

* Restore Peak Performance: Replace worn-out front sections to regain the aggressive, secure bite of new crampons. This is a direct investment in your safety and performance on technical terrain.
* Uncompromised Durability: Constructed from robust, hardened steel, this front part is built to withstand the rigours of mountaineering. It offers exceptional resistance to abrasion and impact from rock and ice, ensuring long-lasting service life.
* Superior Traction on Varied Terrain: The expertly designed 8-point configuration provides outstanding stability and grip. The points are shaped for effective penetration into ice and hard-packed snow while also providing a stable platform on mixed ground, making it incredibly versatile for general mountaineering.
* Cost-Effective Maintenance: Instead of purchasing a completely new set of crampons, replacing only the front section is an economical and environmentally conscious choice, extending the life of your valuable gear.

Main Features:

* Robust 8-Point Front Section: The front section features a total of eight strategically placed points designed for maximum stability and traction. The aggressive front points ensure secure purchase when front-pointing on steep ice and firm snow, providing the control needed for technical ascents.
* Secure Screw-in Connection: Designed for a solid and dependable fit, this component utilises a Screw-in mechanism to connect to the heel part of your compatible crampons. This robust attachment system eliminates play and ensures that the entire crampon acts as a single, rigid unit under your boot for optimal power transmission and security.
* Anatomical Left/Right Fit: Engineered with a specific left and right design, the front sections follow the natural asymmetrical shape of modern mountaineering boots. This anatomical fit not only enhances walking comfort and reduces fatigue on long approaches but also improves the precision of your footwork on technical sections.
