I bought these boots to go to Tromsø and visit the surrounding areas. I found them very comfortable, suitable for both long walks on snow/ice and for urban strolls. I can confirm that they are waterproof (I immersed a part of them in the Arctic Ocean and the water didn't get through). If you're walking for a few hours at -15 or -20 degrees Celsius, I still recommend wearing suitable socks and insoles, as toes tend to get cold. I recommend going up a size so you can wear the right layers to protect your feet from the cold. Overall, I'm very satisfied and would definitely choose this boot again.

These boots are perfect for the extreme cold we were in Lapland, very cold lots of snow they fulfilled their mission: never cold and feet always dry. they are very comfortable and as light as possible
