Karpos Alagna Down jacket

KARPOS Alagna Women´s Down Jacket

Experience the pinnacle of alpine performance with the KARPOS Alagna Women´s Down Jacket, your essential thermal layer for dynamic mountain pursuits. Engineered for the ambitious woman who demands warmth without weight, this jacket is the perfect companion for ski mountaineering, trekking, and cold-weather mountaineering. Its intelligent hybrid design delivers targeted warmth and exceptional breathability, allowing you to push your limits in comfort.

This highly technical jacket masterfully combines different materials to optimize your performance. The core, front, and back are filled with high-quality insulated down, providing an outstanding warmth-to-weight ratio to protect you from the cold on exposed ridges and during pre-dawn starts. This thermal efficiency is key to staying comfortable without being burdened by bulk. To manage heat and moisture during intense physical exertion, the underarms and side panels feature a stretch synthetic fabric, ensuring maximum breathability and complete freedom of movement.

Brave unpredictable mountain weather with confidence. The main outer fabric is a durable and lightweight Pertex® Quantum, making the jacket completely windproof to shield you from chilling gusts. While not fully waterproof, a DWR treatment helps shed light snow and moisture, keeping the insulation effective. The ergonomically shaped hood (With Hood) is designed to fit comfortably, providing crucial protection for your head and face without obstructing your peripheral vision, an essential for technical terrain.

Designed for the athlete in motion, the Alagna Down Jacket features a Dynamic Fit that moves with your body. The integrated stretch panels allow for unrestricted arm movement, whether you´re poling up a steep couloir or reaching for your next hold. When the sun comes out or you´re back below the treeline, this jacket´s incredibly compressible nature shines. It packs down to a minimal size, disappearing into your backpack until it´s needed again, making it an indispensable piece of versatile insulation for multi-day trips and fast-and-light objectives. Embrace your next adventure with this lightweight, warm, and packable jacket built for the modern mountain woman.
