Oakley MOD1 MIPS Junior Helmet: Ultimate Safety & Style for Young Skiers

Give your young skier the confidence to conquer the mountain with the superior protection and cool style of the Oakley MOD1 MIPS Junior Helmet. Designed specifically for young riders, this premium alpine skiing helmet delivers professional-grade safety features in a package they´ll be excited to wear. A lightweight and low-profile design inspired by the classic skate-style helmet, the MOD1 is available in three fits (Standard, Asian, and Youth) and delivers simplicity with premium functionality for wherever your on-mountain adventures take you. It’s the perfect blend of trusted Oakley performance and youth-focused design.

Uncompromised Safety with Mips® Technology

Safety is paramount, and the MOD1 is equipped with the industry-leading Mips® Brain Protection System. Remain headstrong with an industry-leading, patented brain protection system that helps protect the head from multidirectional impact. This low-friction layer is designed to reduce the harmful rotational forces that can be transferred to the brain during angled impacts, a common occurrence in skiing and snowboarding falls. This advanced technology provides an extra layer of confidence, knowing your child has one of the most advanced protection systems available.

A Secure and Perfectly Customized Fit

A proper fit is critical for both safety and comfort. The MOD1 Junior helmet excels with its dual-fit technology. It features the renowned BOA® 360 Fit System, which provides an exact fit with a fully adjustable design. A simple turn of the dial allows for micro-adjustments, ensuring the helmet is perfectly snug and secure throughout the day, eliminating pressure points and preventing unwanted movement.

Furthermore, this helmet addresses a common issue for younger riders with its exclusive Youth Fit ´´Wheelie´´ Wedge. This removable youth fit wedge insert is brilliantly designed to help prevent the helmet from rocking backwards and creating a ´´wheelie effect´´. By doing so, it helps to ensure greater forehead coverage and promotes a more seamless and gap-free integration between the helmet and goggles, enhancing both protection and visibility.

Lightweight Comfort for All-Day Adventures

The lightweight, low-profile construction means your young adventurer will barely notice they´re wearing a helmet. This focus on comfort reduces fatigue and eliminates distractions, allowing them to focus on skiing and having fun from the first chair to the last run of the day. The skate-style aesthetic gives them a look they’ll love, encouraging them to wear their helmet without complaint. The helmet´s performance is backed by dual-certification, meeting the rigorous ASTM F2040 and CE EN1077 safety standards for snow sports.
