System is top. I thing L side for my 1.90m height. Fits very well to my back. A bit on the heavy side for CC or all-mountain biking (940g on my own weight scale, this was published nowhere in the product descriptions). Would have saved me from scratch after my last crash! A bit expensive vs. competition, but can not easily compare actual specs. Thus: thumbs up
