It´s the difference between a long, frustrating post-hole back to the car and a safe, efficient exit from the backcountry.

Designed for the unpredictable nature of ski touring, this emergency skin is a marvel of universal compatibility and reliability. Its uncut design means it´s ready to be deployed on nearly any ski width or length, providing a crucial get-you-home solution for yourself or a partner in your group. The innovative universal tip loop ensures a secure attachment to the front of your ski, providing the confidence you need to make your way back safely. This adaptability makes it an essential item for ski guides, patrollers, and anyone who spends significant time in remote winter environments. This isn´t just a spare part; it´s a critical piece of your safety kit that offers a simple, effective solution to a potentially tour-ending problem.

Despite its status as an emergency backup, the POMOCA Spare Skin is packed with advanced features to ensure reliable performance. The skin´s construction offers a dependable grip for climbing, even on challenging or icy terrain. Thanks to POMOC´s renowned treatment technologies, the skin is inherently Waterproof, preventing it from getting waterlogged and heavy, and reducing the chance of icing up in changing conditions. An Anti stick membrane is applied to prevent snow and ice from clumping to the base, ensuring a clean and consistent glide surface with every step. Finally, the Speed glide finish reduces friction, allowing for a surprisingly efficient forward motion, conserving your precious energy when you need it most. It’s engineered to perform when everything else has gone wrong.

The spare skin is here to carry you at the end of your tour! It weight only 120g and can adapt to all the skis, so just leave it in your back pack! This product is an excellent example of a Mohair / Nylon Mixed performance ethos, focused on providing the best possible emergency solution.
