Protest Akas jacket

Discover the pinnacle of alpine performance with the PROTEST Akas jacket, a premier piece of outerwear designed for the dedicated skier and snowboarder. This exceptional men´s snow jacket masterfully combines a sleek, athletic aesthetic with cutting-edge technical features, ensuring you look as good as you feel from the first chair to the last run. Engineered for those who refuse to compromise on mobility, the Akas is your ticket to unrestricted movement and unparalleled comfort on the mountain.

The core of the Akas jacket´s design philosophy is its superior fit and feel. This is not a bulky, restrictive jacket; it´s a high-performance shell that moves with you. The advanced synthetic fabric provides exceptional flexibility, allowing you to carve, jump, and charge down the mountain with complete freedom. Its lightweight yet effective insulated synthetic construction offers the perfect balance of warmth and low-profile design, keeping you comfortable without weighing you down. The ergonomic pre-shaping of the jacket ensures it follows the natural lines and movements of your body for an almost custom-fit feel.

Stay perfectly dry and comfortable, no matter what the weather throws at you. The Akas boasts an impressive 20K water resistance rating, providing a formidable barrier against heavy snow, sleet, and moisture. At the same time, its remarkable 20g breathability allows internal moisture and sweat to escape, preventing the clammy, cold feeling that can cut a day short. For intense runs or warmer spring days, you can instantly regulate your temperature using the strategically placed underarm ventilation zips, giving you complete control over your microclimate.

Functionality is at the forefront of the PROTEST Akas jacket. Every detail is thoughtfully designed for life on the slopes. Secure your lift pass in the dedicated ski pass pocket for easy scanning at the gates. Keep your vision clear with a special goggle pocket that protects your lenses. To seal out powder and cold drafts, the jacket is equipped with a protective waist gaiter and comfortable inner cuffs featuring integrated thumb holes, creating a seamless connection with your gloves. The design also features a versatile, fully detachable hood that adapts to changing weather conditions or personal style preferences, making it a true all-conditions piece.
