Offering exceptional protection, this classic skate-inspired snow helmet comes equipped with all the essentials and is designed to pair perfectly with our industry-leading goggles.
-The GALACTIC MIPS® features a durable ABS shell and comes with the MIPS® brain protection system, removable washable ear pads, and two removable brims so you can customize your style.

Unrivaled Safety with MIPS® Technology

At the core of the Galactic´s protective capability is the revolutionary MIPS® Brain Protection System. This cutting-edge, low-friction layer integrated inside the helmet is designed to reduce rotational motion transferred to the brain during angled impacts. By allowing a slight movement of the shell relative to the liner, MIPS® redirects harmful rotational forces, adding a critical dimension of safety beyond standard helmet construction. This means you get superior protection against the types of impacts commonly sustained in skiing and snowboarding falls.

Customizable Style and All-Day Comfort

The Galactic isn´t just about safety; it´s about expressing your personal style on the slopes. Its minimalist, skate-inspired silhouette provides a timeless look, while the inclusion of two distinct, removable brims allows you to switch up your profile in seconds. Run it brimless for a classic park look or add a brim for extra style and sun deflection. Comfort is paramount for long days on the mountain, which is why the Galactic features a passive venting system that consistently draws fresh air in and pulls moist, warm air out, preventing overheating. The soft, plush liner and ear pads are fully removable and washable, ensuring your helmet stays fresh and hygienic all season long. The ear pads are also audio-compatible, allowing you to easily drop in your favorite sound system.

Seamless Goggle Integration

Say goodbye to the dreaded "gaper gap." The SPY Galactic MIPS Helmet is meticulously engineered to create a flawless, continuous fit with SPY´s industry-leading snow goggles. This perfect pairing eliminates forehead gaps, ensuring a secure fit that seals out cold wind and snow while optimizing the anti-fog performance of your goggle´s ventilation system. A durable, secure goggle clip at the rear of the helmet keeps your goggle strap locked in place, no matter how hard you ride.
