ALESSI DC06/1 Espresso Coffee Maker by David Chipperfield

Elevate your daily coffee ritual with the ALESSI DC06/1, a masterpiece of design and functionality that redefines the classic Italian moka pot. Conceived by the renowned architect David Chipperfield, this espresso coffee maker is more than just a small appliance; it is a piece of art for your kitchen. Chipperfield’s design pays homage to the timeless tradition of espresso making while infusing it with a contemporary, architectural sensibility. Its distinctive eleven-sided body is not only visually striking but also enhances the brewing process, making it a familiar yet refreshingly new object for every coffee aficionado. This is the perfect choice for those who appreciate both the rich, aromatic taste of authentic Italian espresso and the profound beauty of minimalist design.

Experience Architectural Excellence and Uncompromised Flavor

The ALESSI DC06/1 is crafted for the ultimate personal coffee experience. Its single-cup capacity is perfect for preparing a concentrated, flavourful 70 ml shot of espresso, allowing you to savor a moment of pure indulgence. The design incorporates thoughtful details that enhance its usability. A key feature is the flat lid, a nod to the traditional Italian practice of placing an espresso cup on top of the moka pot to warm it with the rising heat, preparing it to receive the freshly brewed coffee. The strategically positioned side knob allows you to lift the lid effortlessly with one hand, combining elegance with practicality. Made from high-quality cast aluminum, this espresso maker ensures optimal heat distribution, a critical factor for extracting the full, rich aroma and body that defines a perfect moka-style coffee. It transforms the simple act of making coffee into a sophisticated and enjoyable ceremony.
