ALESSI Pulcina Espresso Coffee Maker MT18/3 by Michele De Lucchi Elevate your daily coffee ritual from a routine to a work of art with the ALESSI Pulcina Espresso Coffee Maker (MT18/3).

This is not just a coffee maker.

it is a revolutionary piece of design and engineering, born from an intense collaboration between Alessi and the coffee experts at illycaffè.

The Pulcina is designed to craft the perfect cup of espresso, enhancing the full, rich body and aroma of your favorite coffee grounds while cleverly eliminating the bitter aftertaste often associated with the final stage of extraction.

It stands as a testament to the belief that functional objects should also be exceptionally beautiful.

The genius of the Pulcina lies in its performance, which is dictated by its unique shape.

The internal structure of the boiler was developed after years of research to create a shape that automatically stops filtering the coffee at the ideal moment.

This innovative function prevents the volcanic eruption phase that produces a burnt, bitter taste, ensuring you only get the very best part of the extraction.

The result is a purer, more rounded, and intensely aromatic espresso, every single time.

Among stovetop espresso machines, the Pulcina represents a significant leap forward in achieving café-quality coffee at home.

Designed by the acclaimed architect Michele De Lucchi, the Pulcin´s form is as striking as its function.

Its stepped, multi-faceted body is instantly recognizable and designed to be a showpiece in any kitchen.

The name Pulcina, Italian for chick, is lovingly inspired by its distinctive V-shaped spout, which is crafted to resemble a chick´s beak.

This is not just a stylistic choice.

it allows for a flawless, drip-free pour, cutting the flow of coffee with precision and elegance.

The ergonomic handle provides a comfortable and secure grip, completing a user experience that is as pleasurable as the coffee it produces.

For those who appreciate iconic design, superior functionality, and the true art of coffee, the ALESSI Pulcina is the ultimate choice.
