Avenger C1000 Buccaneer Drop Ceiling Light Mount

Unlock new creative possibilities and master challenging lighting environments with the Avenger C1000 Buccaneer Drop Ceiling Scissor Clamp. An essential tool for professional photographers, videographers, and gaffers, this innovative light mount is engineered to solve one of the most common on-location problems: how to rig lights and accessories securely in spaces with suspended or drop ceilings. Forget cumbersome light stands that clutter your floor space and create tripping hazards. The Buccaneer provides a safe, efficient, and incredibly robust overhead mounting point, transforming offices, convention centers, trade show booths, and classrooms into fully functional shooting locations.

The core benefit of the Avenger Buccaneer is its ability to provide a strong, reliable rigging point where none existed before. Its ingenious scissor-style clamp is specifically designed to grip the metal T-bar grid of a standard drop ceiling system firmly. This allows you to position lights, microphones, and other gear directly overhead for a more natural and controlled effect, whether you´re creating a dramatic top-down light for an interview or simply need to get an ambient light source out of the way. Built with Avenger´s legendary commitment to quality, the C1000 is constructed from heavy-duty, chrome-plated steel, ensuring maximum durability, corrosion resistance, and a long service life even under demanding professional use.

Main Features:

* Specialized Scissor Clamp Design: The heart of the Buccaneer is its powerful scissor mechanism. It opens to fit over a standard drop ceiling T-bar and clamps down securely with a simple turn of the T-handle, providing a stable and damage-free anchor point.
* Robust Steel Construction: Manufactured from high-tensile, chrome-plated steel, the C1000 is built to withstand the rigors of daily on-set use. The chrome finish not only provides a professional look but also protects against rust and wear.
* Industry-Standard Mounting Pin: Equipped with a fixed 16mm (5/8") baby pin, the Buccaneer is instantly compatible with a vast ecosystem of professional lighting fixtures, grip heads, magic arms, and other accessories from virtually any brand.
* High Load Capacity: Despite its compact and lightweight profile, this mount is engineered to handle a substantial payload, giving you the confidence to mount professional-grade equipment safely overhead.
* Rapid Deployment: The intuitive design allows for incredibly fast setup and takedown, saving valuable time on set. Simply position, tighten, and mount your gear in seconds.
