Black Shark S3 smartwatch

About the Black Shark S3.

1.43´´ AMOLED panel with high definition, independent GNSS for recording routes without a phone, 5 ATM water resistance, and Bluetooth calls with ENC.

The set is completed by a battery life of up to 15 days in typical use.

Screen and design.

The circular dial integrates a 466×466 (326 ppi) AMOLED panel at 60 Hz for fluid animations and good touch response.

The brightness reaches 600 nits, favoring outdoor legibility.

The magnetic strap provides a quick fit, and the glass maintains a clear display for dials and metrics.

Health, sport, and positioning.

Includes 150+ sports modes and monitoring of heart rate, SpO₂, sleep, and stress.

Multi-system positioning (GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, QZSS, BeiDou) allows you to train outdoors without relying on your mobile phone, with route recording and distance and pace metrics.

Calls and smart functions.

With Bluetooth 5.3, integrated microphone and speaker, it allows calls with noise cancellation (ENC) and multimedia control from the wrist.

Synchronization with Android and iOS enables notifications, quick responses, and dial updates, maintaining simple use without the need for an app store.

Autonomy and resistance.

Offers up to 15 days of typical use and up to 30 on standby, with simple magnetic charging.

The 50 m / 5 ATM certification makes it suitable for swimming pools and showers, maintaining swimming measurements and daily tracking without compromising the safety of the device.

Opinion of our expert.

This model prioritizes a clear balance between a fluid screen, its own GNSS, and calls, with a competitive value for money in a circular format.

Compared to the Redmi Watch 4 (1.97´´ screen, 60 Hz, 600 nits brightness, GNSS and calls, typical battery life of 20 days), the Black Shark S3 opts for a round design and essential metrics with a solid battery.

Compared to the Amazfit GTR Mini, which adds training metrics such as VO₂ max, load, and training effect but does not incorporate calls, the S3 is more practical for daily use by integrating hands-free. In relation to the Huawei Watch Fit 3 (rectangular format 1.82´´, up to 10 days and 5 ATM), Black Shark´s proposal is more conservative in "smart" functions, but compensates with greater autonomy and dedicated GNSS.

For those looking for a round watch with integrated GPS, good screen and reliable calls, the Black Shark S3 is a coherent and balanced choice.
