What is a Motherboard for a computer?

A motherboard is the chief component of your computer. It is a circuit board inside a computer that connects the different components of a computer together.
The motherboard has sockets for the CPU, RAM, and expansion cards. In addition, the Asus motherboard also hooks up to front panel ports, hard drives, disc drives with cables and wires.
